Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Staff Supervisors
California law requires all employers of 5 or more employees to provide 1 hour of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to nonsupervisory employees and 2 hours of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to supervisors and managers once every two years. The law requires the training to include practical examples of harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
This webinar will help participants meet the requirements of the law, AND it will help to create a respectful work environment.
Not only will employees, managers, supervisors and owners learn about harassment and what to do about it, they will also gain skills to engage in civil, respectful behaviors at work. After all, civility is the key to harassment prevention.

The Sexual Harassment Prevention Training is offered as a one hour course for all employees, with a second one hour course for those managers/supervisors with oversight responsibilities. The two webinars have been developed in collaboration between Mariposa Training, the California Association of Health Facilitieis (CAHF) education foundation, the Quality Care Health Fopundation (QCHF) and Catherine Mattice Zundel of Civility Partners.
The two Sexual Harassment Prevention Training webinars have been developed specifically for the long term care provider, and will help participants meet the requirements of the law. These webinars will also provide long term care employees, managers, supervisors and owners with the information they need to prevent sexual harassment as well as the knowledge, skills and abilities to respond to such situations should they occur.Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
